This report is the third in a series of three in which the world's top 40 producers of nonwovens are profiled. The report provides updated information and data about the activities, investments, and marketing and product strategies of Dalian Ruiguang Nonwoven Group, Hassan Group, KNH, Mogul, Saudi German Nonwovens, Shalag Nonwovens, Spuntech Industries, Tenowo, Toyobo and Union Industries. The report also includes data on the size of the nonwovens market and sales achieved by these ten smaller producers of nonwovens. Many of these producers are benefiting, or are set to benefit, from recent investments. In 2016 KNH added a new spunlacing line at its site in Chengdu, China, while Spuntech Industries added an advanced spunlacing line at its facility in Roxboro, North Carolina, USA. Also in 2016, Shalag Nonwovens completed work on a new line at its site in Oxford, North Carolina, USA, and more recently it has upgraded an old calender bonding line. During 2016-17 Hassan Group added two needlepunching lines, and Mogul invested in a new site in Turkey and in a US operation. Meanwhile, in 2017 Dalian Ruiguang brought on stream a carded spunlaced nonwovens line at its site in Ruiguang Industry Park, China.
