Every year, the latest innovations from Taiwanese textile companies are showcased at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS). Taiwan has become one of the world's leading suppliers of functional textiles as a result of significant investments in research and development (R&D) and cutting-edge technologies. Indeed, the Taiwanese textile industry is a leader in innovative textile products, and has succeeded in developing advanced materials and smart textiles. Furthermore, the Taiwanese government is encouraging the industry to develop its R&D and production bases for technical textiles.
