This report is the third in a series of three in which the world's top 40 producers of nonwovens are profiled. The report provides updated information and data about the activities, investments, and marketing and product strategies of Dalian Ruiguang Nonwoven Group, Jofo Group, KNH, Kuraray, Mogul, Propex Holdings, Saudi German Nonwovens, Shalag Nonwovens, Toyobo and Unitika. The report also includes data on the size of the nonwovens market and sales achieved by these ten smaller producers of nonwovens. Many of these producers are benefiting, or are set to benefit, from recent investments. In 2015 Dalian Ruiguang brought a spunlaced nonwovens line on stream at its site in Ruiguang Industry Park and has begun work on a new line for making carded spunlaced nonwovens. In 2016 KNH Enterprises added a new spunlacing line at its site in Chengdu, China. In the same year, Shalag Nonwovens completed work on a new line at its site in Oxford North Carolina, USA, and is currently upgrading an old calender bonding line. Toyobo has invested in a pilot line and Saudi German Nonwovens has invested in a second site which is located in Rabigh on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. Mogul has invested in a new site in Turkey and in a US operation, and in April 2017 Unitika completed an expansion of its operation in Thailand.
