This 40-page report analyses trends in the international textile yarn machinery market, and includes detailed information about installed capacities and shipments of spinning machines by type, region and selected country. Overall, 2017 was a positive year for the international textile yarn machinery market. Shipments of short staple spindles, long staple spindles, open-end rotors and double heater false-twist draw texturing spindles increased. However, shipments of single heater false-twist draw texturing spindles declined. On a geographical basis, there were increases in shipments of spinning machinery to the textile industries in China and Iran. Elsewhere, there were increases in shipments of four types of machinery to the textile industry in India, and increases in three types of machinery to the textile industry in Uzbekistan.
